Neonatal Rat/Mouse Cardiomyocytes are one of the most commonly used primary culture of cardiomyocytes in vitro which are applied for physiological-, cellular, and molecular studies. They can be cultured for a good period of time that is sufficient for genetic manipulation as well as tissue engineering and other cardiovascular research purposes. These cells are spontaneously beating and are very helpful for physiological studies on cardiomyocytes.
