11th Royan International E-Summer School on Interdisciplinary Approaches to Diabetes Research was held in Royan Institute (16-18 December 2020). Initiated in 2010, The Royan International annual Summer School has attracted may audiences from different fields of biology, medicine, engineering and etc. Throughout these years, Royan International Summers School has been recognized as one of the main scientific events of the region with more than 300 audiences from Iran and the neighboring countries.
Due to COVID 19 pandemic, Royan International Summer School was cancelled at the beginning and unlike the previous programs, it was held delayed and virtually in December 2020.
The 11th Royan International E-Summer School was held on 16th December 2020 where the scientific chairman, Dr. Yaser Tahamtani welcomed the audiences in the opening ceremony speech. Then, Dr. Najafi (the research deputy of Ministry of Health) and Dr. Pourabed (the Research Deputy of ACECR) delivered speeches.
